Full description: A truly different kind of eco-farm with a round granite building with a roof, another nice rectangular building and a round bread oven with a roof.
Located where the Douro and Agueda rivers join, this 3ha property, besides having a wonderful view of the river,
overlooks the mountains of Spain.
It lies along the slope of a mountain side with a road zigzagging up to the top.
A very pretty and fertile property with lots of healthy fruit and olive trees.
There is a giant well which the owner professes has abundant water all year around and this is evident from the bamboo and other water reeds that surround the immediate area.
Towards the top side of the land are two houses. One is rectangular and the other round with a wonderful roof!
The round one is small (maybe 3m in diameter) and was used as a storage room. They lie close together so they could easily be connected if you wanted to rebuild what is existent into a bigger house.
A short distance away from these buildings is the round bread oven which also has a roof. This only covers about 5m2.
Water supply is by a big well brimming with pure water.
Electricity is too far away, so you would need to have to resort to solar power.
Access is reasonable from the main tar road, between towns you will need to take smaller windy tarred roads which later leads you into a track which is accessible by normal cars and ends at the quinta. |
